I guess if you have to interpret what was each of them was "really saying", you can feel justified in coming up with any conclusion you like. Perhaps if I had watched her whole show like you must have, I would have had more perspective than provided in the 29 second clip presented for this argument.

It is disrespectful to the Office of the President to refer to him with the derogatory nickname you used in the above paragraph, nor does it provide any validity to your argument.

I disagree with your stated fact about infection rates. Please provide a credible source.

Data published by European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) shows the exact opposite of your statement. South Korea, Denmark, Canada, even Mexico have substantially lower death rates, even when normalized to the date of the 5 confirmed Covid related death in each country. I don't believe we have sufficient test results standardized across various countries to make any accurate statements about the number of infections, but unless our health care is substandard, the death rates would indicate we are doing very poorly in that respect as well.

Calling her or me childish names provides no validity to your argument, nor any credibility to you as a source. I find it disappointing that you choose to present yourself in such a manner.

Earlier I said you were intelligent and educated. I now take that back

You think Rachel Maddow is news in a reliable source, but then you ask me for a better source? You're academically dishonest or not very bright those are the only options.

Call Abyss, the only difference between Rachel Maddow and Rush Limbaugh is liberals only have a 30 minute attention span and need pictures.

Other than that they both make their living telling Their audience whatever they want to hear, truth be damned

I don't recall accusing either of being inaccurate, quite the opposite. Are you saying that she is not allowed to use hyperbole because the President does? Your argument doesn't make sense.

The movements of US Military troops for which they are is making public statements about. Is this not why Commander in Chief has all those advisors, to make sure their information is accurate?

My "non expert" statement was made because I would hold an attorney dispensing legal advice to a higher standard than I would the President, unless the President happened to also be an attorney. I did not indicate that the President was an expert either. He should be, and I hope that he in fact is an expert on this.

Cant use hyperbole when calling someone else out for a minor inaccuracy. It undermines the entire argument. It is far from "nonsense" to suggest the ship would arrive in a week if it arrived in a week + a weekend.

He isnt an expert on how long it takes for a navy hospital vessel to leave station and sail to NYC harbor. Obviously. He would rely on people like the Navy secretary to give him the information. Wonder what the Navy secretary said at the time? Good news, here is a quote from the Navy Secretary from that same briefing.

So according to your graph, the entire United States of America, run by Donald J Trump barely topped Italy who has 1/5 our population.

Italy, with more beds per capita and glorious single payer healthcare literally had 5 times the death rate we did.

Well, thanks for making my point for me.

Komrades, Komrades, it's painfully obvious that your GRU sponsored English lessons have not been successful in improving your English vocabularies, so those big words that Maddow uses are still way beyond your abilities, so you all are ordered back to your English classes in Moscow immediately (COVID-19 is a hoax after all, so there's nothing to fear...)!

The people who could report the time it takes for the USNS Comfort to travel any amount of distance are not in the Navy. Military Sealift Command own and operate the hospital ships for the Navy. All employees of MSC are civilians. The USNS Comfort and Mercy are often used as propaganda pieces by all with political aspirations.
