Every state says two weeks and keeps getting extended... They should simply say until further notice... Or until public pressure forces the governor's hand... and in CA it appears 75% are closers accepting a wait for a vaccine. And only the governor (not a county mayor) can make a full open happen.

I wonder how they will react if it turns out there isn't effective vaccine
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

I watched the interview with some of the Health Directors last night. Marin says they need 500 tests a day to reopen. They said they are managing 150 at the moment. Alameda wants 2500 and I think they are in the 600 range.

Part of this of course is poor local logistics. Where clinicians claim they can't test enough people and drive through sites are partially idle at the same time.

Its time to really point the finger at the counties and state government. They wasted 5 weeks to figure out logistics and its costing everyone.

So how about closing the Bay Area down until 2021 - just to be safe - do it for the Children.

As the rural counties sought to reopen, six San Francisco Bay Area counties said Monday they are extending stay-at-home orders through the end of May.

I don't buy in to the election fixing idea. I honestly think at this stage, local leaders are getting bad information from local health officials who in turn have lost track on the purpose of a shelter in place. I honestly believe they think that lockdowns are a sort of longterm solution. Its no longer about trying to keep hospitals overwhelmed (the Bay had no facilities overwhelmed and have been trending down in hospitalisations for 17 days.)

I am beginning to wonder if bay area officials think they can wait until case loads drop to near zero.

Obviously that won't work. I went out today to get office supplies and this is the first work day that felt like a work day. Roads were busy. Office blocks that once had empty parking lots are now packed.

I really do think Solano just said screw this as of today.

I wasn't necessarily speaking of election fixing, I am speaking of using fear to strip people of their freedom and getting them to give up their constitutional rights under the guise of public safety.

Age old technique, and it works nearly every time.

Local business women on the bay area news last night. She has said she will openly ignore the Solano order. News didn't make her look bad in anyway which was good.

She did say something that many others here have said - she and other businesses have been having clients to residences so authorities aren't aware. She said she doesn't want to hide anymore.

Yea.. locking up a healthy 26 year old in Colorado because of sickly 80 year olds in CA is.. well.. stupid.

If you want to shelter or lock down granny then go for it.. the rest of us have things to do.

That crazy concept of personal responsibility.

They had a few more interviews on businesses starting to ignore the SIP. Notably they interviewed Vacaville's Police Chief. He seemed pretty relaxed saying people should respect the SIP but he will not be fining anyone.
