About Damn Time: CA Orders Review of Deaths Back To December

It is ASTOUNDING to me that this has not been done already.

Bet me we will find this thing has been here since Dec...or at least EARLY Jan. And if it has been here since then...and it has...it likely means that locking down...and the subsequent killing of our economy...was for nothing. The horses were already out of the barn when we shut the doors. The disease was already FULLY entrenched.

FYI...Reports today on that person that died of Beer Flu on Feb 6, said she declined a family event five days earlier because she wasn't feeling well. So we're now at Feb 1st for when we are certain this thing was here.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) has ordered coroners across the state to review deaths “back as far as December” after officials in Santa Clara County found that two residents died with coronavirus in early and mid-February, well before the first officially recorded coronavirus death in the country, which was previously believed to have occurred in Washington State on February 29.During the press conference, Newsom revealed that the order is designed to “dig even deeper” into other deaths that could have been missed, with the goal of helping to create an “understanding of when this pandemic really started to impact Californians directly.”“When this occurred is important forensic information, profoundly significant in terms of understanding the epidemiology of this disease,” said Newsom.“All of those things are brought to bear with more clarity and light, not only because of this specific announcement,” said Newsom, referring to Santa Clara County, but also “subsequent announcements that may be made by similar efforts all across the state of California.”As The Daily Wire previously reported, officials in Santa Clara County announced the timeline-shifting revelation late Tuesday evening, noting that the first newly discovered death was on February 6 and occurred over one month before March 9, the date of what was thought to be the county’s first death.“The Medical Examiner-Coroner performed autopsies on two individuals who died at home on February 6, 2020 and February 17, 2020. Samples from the two individuals were sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” said the county in a statement. “Today, the Medical Examiner-Coroner received confirmation from the CDC that tissue samples from both cases are positive for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).”The Associated Press reports that the person who died on February 6 was a 57-year-old woman, and that the later death was a 69-year-old man. Neither of the victims had traveled to China recently, and it’s unknown if they had pre-existing medical conditions.“The virus was freewheeling in our community and probably has been here for quite some time,” Dr. Jeff Smith, chief executive of Santa Clara County and a physician himself, said at a recent county briefing, reports The Los Angeles Times. In the Tuesday evening press release, county officials say that the victims “died at home during a time when very limited testing was available only through the CDC,” and note that the CDC had “restricted testing to only individuals with a known travel history and who sought medical care for specific symptoms.”“It shifts everything weeks earlier, extends geographic involvement, (and) further shows how our inability to test let this outbreak loose,” Dr. Eric Topol, head of the Scripps Research Translational Institute in San Diego, told AP in an email.A Washington Post investigation recently discovered that the “rollout of coronavirus tests” in the United States was hindered by incompetence at the Centers for Disease Control, which shipped out an initial batch of testing kits that were contaminated during the manufacturing process at the centers’ central laboratory. The Daily Wire, headed by bestselling author and popular podcast host Ben Shapiro, is a leading provider of conservative news, cutting through the mainstream media’s rhetoric to provide readers the most important, relevant, and engaging stories of the day. I am pretty sure I (and family) suffered through this in mid January. So with my anti social behavior pushes this back to at least December if not November.

They should also examine all the "flu" cases. If they were actually covid then flu tests should show "Flu-like symptoms" yet test negative.

I was sick as a dog in early December and a friend had pneumonia.

And then they will find China purposely sent out infected people to spread it everywhere, as far back as late November.

If it shows there were more deaths than we thought...does that mean we must seriously look at extending sip????

That same information would also seem to prove that many people had it that didn't get sick or die as well... And that information could show that it's less deadly than we thought and that should tell us we can relax the shutdown..

But they can't measure how many may have had it...Only those who died from it...

Relaxing the shutdown, showing people that 3+ months of it spreading in CA uncontrolled didnt result in nuclear meltdown, giving strong cause to begin to open back up with lighter limitations. Maybe they will try to use it to "prove" that orange man bad didnt act soon enough and he should have been shutting the whole country down in december?

I wouldn't get too happy about this While it's important to know the science surrounding this, this is not about learning something, it's about weaponizing the findings to prove that the president didn't respond fast enough.

While most of us who are not in the bubble know the truth, that no one on the planet could have started a vaccine development effort until after the Chicoms shared the genome January 9~11, the dopes in the bubble don't know that and will believe what the media says, particularly if the repeat that crap for months on end.

Three months worth of jokes and the literal closure of the beer plant in Mexico due to stupidity of people in large groups not buying corona anymore out of some fear for the beer?

Maybe you don't do a lot of social media, but good lord, that's almost like saying 'What's this new virus that's going around?"
