One time I got my nose / throat scoped & she gave me this cocaine-based spray to numb my nasal passages & throat. If I get like a quadruple dose of that stuff plus a bottle to take home, then swab away.

Cocaine was used to constrict blood vessels to decrease bleeding during surgery. Even though it does have similar analgesic properties like other "caines", what you were given was more probably lidocaine.

Cocaine is very rarely used, and if it is it is more for the bleeding-something that can be done with Lidocaine if you add in epinephrine.

I get testing but I won't test at all for any reason unless in the hospital or in cuffs. This is just a DNA collection method for the future. And NO not wearing a tin foil hat just a cynic.

So is this what it is really like? My opinion is, I don't care about anything enough to let someone do this to me.

For the helluvit? No.

For necessary surgery? Yes.

They wont do surgery without a COVID-19 test - and this is the type of test they do (locally).

Yep, that's what it was, I think.... I knew it was one of the -caines, I just forgot which.
