I think the key to beating this to have an Au at the start of your country.
While alot of countries have seen peak cases and peak deaths come and go in the last two weeks, the only sizeable country to see total active cases in major decline was South Korea. (I'm excluding China)
It looks like Austria and Australia are well on there way as well now.
