    Exercising During Corona

    Hey Calgunners,

In a bug-out situation, we're gonna need strength, stamina, and calories to keep on moving.

I'm wondering if any one has changed their work-out regimes due to corona.

Are you guys working out more? Less? At home? Or should we consider saving calories?

Let me know, this info can be useful to all Calgunners!

I have to work out more... its only a calorie offset, the fridge is only steps away!

          Nice!

I really like biking for cardio; I think it makes me a better runner.

And I need to find some cheap kettlebells myself.

I used to have some adjustable dumbbells 10-90, a dip and chin-up station, and a adjustable bench. But sold them about 2 years ago as I'd rather go to the gym for more equipment and heavier weights.

Anyways I'm just doing insanity now at home. I'll probably lose some strength gains but will have better cardio. Insanity burns less calories overall but I'm hoping to increase the calories burned the more cardio shape I get into.

Just done with a living room workout with the wife.

                We took turns:

                50 skip ropes
                20 pushups
Run in place while you wait for the other to finish.
                4 sets

                Then
Same thing but with lunges vice pushups

Then burpees counting down from 10 down to 1 (55 burpees total), 5 seconds between sets

Then 20 flutter kicks ( count on the right leg) followed by 20 hello dollys.
4 sets 5 second rest between sets

                Squats

Took about 30 minutes including warm up and cool down.

Happened to buy an incline treadmill 2 months ago....nothing to do with stay-at-home....but it’s worked out great in the garage

I was never a street runner, but this unit has trainer videos exercising in different countries’ landscapes...not as boring. I’ve never run so much in my life...and I’m 63 yrs. old now. Cardio already better

Hopefully I’ll be closer to jumping back on the roadbike soon without dying.

Ain’t buggin’ out anywhere....you must’ve watched the reruns of “Book of Eli” lately

My best season running was the summer after I took up road biking. Biking helps running big time, but not the other way around.

And no bacon option. Poll fail.

I work out the same daily at home, so it makes little difference to me.

50 pushups every morning just before I jump in the shower. No less, no more. That's it.
