    Can Orwell Solve This?

Theory / maybe tinfoil / maybe not?
    ----------------------------------------

Using artificial intelligence to sort the data and assuming they have the data can they put an infected persons cell phone into an application that the artificial intel agent then gives them a list of other cell phones the infected person came in contact with? I'm reading bits and pieces of this including:

Couldn't they just send everyone who came close to someone testing positive a text demanding they shelter in for two weeks?
    1. Compared to what?
    2. At what cost?
    3. What hard evidence do you have?

Korea does this already. What you are proposing is for the abolition of the 4th Amendment to Constitution. The government will have access to all of your movements and associations. No thanks.

      access

You don't think they already have it? If private companies (per the link) have it you know our government has it even better. Your 4th amendment probably went out the window when you signed a smart phone service contract. But I'll go one better for you, no government:

Seriously no government involvement: Kaiser contacts AT&T. Two private companies. Kaiser says, without names, here is a phone number of a person's smart phone that is infected. AT&T runs it through AI and the AI program texts every phone number in its system that has been within 6 feet of that number. Text says you were within proximity of an infected person - please shelter in? No government. No hippa violation. Just information?

News flash, they already do. Remember the Patriot Act?

Samuel Johnson was right: patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
