Testing for Covid19 by security guards at

Hi due to downsizing again at my place of employment i went back to driving a class A truck here locally which for the most part I am enjoying as I don't have to worry about the office BS anymore lol. I went to a customer and there is a form and a sign telling all the drivers that in order for you to pick up and or deliver your load, you have to fill out this questionnaire or you can not do business with them. Of course the company doesn't care about our rights to medical privacy they want the load covered. Does anyone know if this a violation of HIPAA Act? I understand why, but we had a fellow driver just two days ago get refused at another customer for a temp of 104 and was turned around, he was back working the next day no illness at all. The person and equipment is not medically certified and they had a false reading. Everyone in the company found out though and this is why I am wondering if this is a violation of our rights to medical privacy? I took pictures of the forms and it has the company name and everything on it, if needed thanks for your time.

Is there any place that i should look to for answers? If I wanted to seek out legal questions, what type of lawyer would have answers. I felt that this is a big invasion of my privacy and disclosing medical questions was none of their business. I would think that once a security guard or any other none medical trained personal is to take my temperature and ask me personal medical questions now puts me under their medical care? I am a bit ticked off buy this right now.

Many of my customers now have forms. The questions are basic, like do you have a fever or have had one in the last month, have you been to any of the 4 listed countries, etc.
There are just 4-5 basic questions. Its not like they are asking for your SSN, birthday/year and next of kin.
Holy F are u sounding retarded. A lawyer, really??

Do we get to make the receiver fill out the same form?

Is the company involved a "Service Provider" or a "Business Associate" of a service provider as defined in the HIPAA?

In not, then there is no coverage of the act.

Not sure but they are taking my temp every morning at work (nurse). I'm cool with it. I don't want to get anyone sick.

Just lie on the form, collect your freight, and leave like all the rest of the drivers.

Sorry it's sideways. I'll fix it when I have time. Currently at work, and just came here to post this.
