Easter Predictions

President Trump threw out Easter as a marker as when he'd like to have most people back to work. Make your best prediction of where we're at on Easter...

Here are my prediction by Easter:
1. 45 states blanket back to work allowed, but sheltering for high risk elderly continues
2. New York, Chicago, DC and other cities that rely heavily on mass transit will have some restrictions but allow most younger people to go back to work by Easter
3. Over 350k people in New York have tested positive, but the data has shown Corona not as bad and hospitals can handle
4. DOW over 25000
5. Joe Biden will be replaced as the Dem Front Runner by Easter, but he'll still have the most delegates total at the time. The polls will favor someone else.
6.Chloroquine Trial results will be coming in showing great statistical effect
7. Putin and MBS agree to talks over stabalizing oil, because neither one wants to be damaged severly in a protracted oil war

Not a bad set of guesses IMO. I would probably move your 40 state estimate out another month.

All of these were aggressive predictions. These predictions were also made before Trump extended to 30 April.

1 & 2. Didn't come true.
Trump dropped the delay to 30 April. Too cautious, IMO.

3. Mostly came true. They only have 200k confirmed cases, but data shows corona not as bad and hospitals can handle. Only needed 5k ventilators actually and didn't even use the splitters. I'll give myself a tie.

4. Didn't come true. DOW at 23700. Quite a rally a somewhat close. I didn't realize Good Friday the market was going to be closed. Perhaps Monday, the day after easter can still hit. I'll have to take the loss on ths prediction though.

5. Mostly came true. Cuomo is ahead of Biden in the polls as the Dem front runner.

6. Some more small trial releases have come in showing good effect. Still waiting on the bigger USA trials though. Still a win.

7. True. They talked last week and an OPEC+ deal

So, I'd say getting half of these agressive predictions right would have been amazing and getting them all would be better than nostrodomus.

Things will get progressively worse in June and July wit crime spiking, August the tinderbox explodes, Dow Jones down to 12-14,000. Food scarce because of supply chain and lack of basic ingredients.
I always thought society was collapsing, I thought it would take place after Trump got re elected.
The virus just sped up my timeline.
The day after Trump gets re elected is the day the civil war starts.
With the Nation-State of California taking the lead.

Going 3-3-1 on aggressive predictions is more impressive than going 7-0 on easy predictions.

The point with the predictions is that most people wouldn't agree any of those would happen in 2 weeks. They were aggressive.

DOW 23700 was wrong, but still feels like win on the back of such a strong rally toward 25000 and hit over 24000 on Thursday.

Go ahead and take a whizz all over the place some more. Who cares? LOL
