My DuckDuckGo foo must not be up to snuff as I have been trying to find a web site that shows the daily historical deaths by state (table or graph) and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have a link to one? There must be one out there somewhere.

Thanks, but unless I am missing something, it looks like that only provides summary data. I am looking for a site that shows daily deaths for each state starting with the first US deathComment

This site is one of the most transparent with their sources and seems pretty accurate.
Where's that Google site that they said they were working on???"I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious." - Thomas Jefferson, 1824

You might need to curate a daily snapshot yourself.
The JHU dashboard was recently updated to show more granular statistics. If you click on a country from the left-hand pane, it will show additional breakdown of cases by region or state, confirmed/dead, if available.
Put those numbers into a spreadsheet column each day and calculate the daily average.

If im reading that right, the deaths rate seemed to taper over the last day. I hope that is true.Comment

That's a great site and I have been using it to track many things, but I have not found a way to go back and get a snapshot of each historical day. This site is one of the most transparent with their sources and seems pretty accurate.

Robotron, I would do that but cannot find much historical data for individual days. I should have been capturing this data for the last 2 weeks, but wasn't smart enough to do that.
Learman,
That is the exact reason I am trying to do this. The NY data is severely tainting the national data so I would like to go back and look at a couple of states as I think there may be good news in that data set.Comment

Https://coronavirus.1point3acres.com has a graph of infections and deaths per day nationally and broken down by state after clicking on the state in the map. It will also show the infections and deaths per county, but not over time. The numbers are updated continuously during the day as new cases are verified.

This interactive map is from the Ventura County Star that I've been using and the best I've seen for archived daily numbers.
This map is your interactive guide to confirmed cases, recoveries and deaths from the coronavirus around the state, nation and world. It combines data from the World Health Organization, U.S. and European CDCs, and the National Health Commission of China.
Click on the red dots on the map to see the number of Confirmed cases, Active Cases, Deaths and Recoveries reported by county (U.S.) and countries.
It also has an interactive slider that goes back all the way to January that show the numbers (dots) as they are/were being reported, by again clicking on the dots at a point in time.
Scrolling the slider, it's pretty wild to see the way the number of cases increase around the world and explode from when it started in China.Last edited by GOEX FFF; 03-24-2020, 10:51 PM.Comment
