    Private FFLs Still Active

    Hi All,

With the run on guns and ammo at the local stores, it has become quite difficult to get in and do any private party transfers. I didn't see a similar thread yet on this temporary forum and wanted to see if there are still any private FFL dealers available to help facilitate PPTs during this time?

If so, please list info below so myself and all of our fellow calgunners know who they might have the option to reach out to. Thanks!

            Hey All,

Wanted to update this thread. I was able to get my transfer taken care of at RifleGear in Fountain Valley. Here are a couple notes to possibly help others navigate the transfer there.

The waitlist was interesting to navigate. I jumped on the website right at 9:30a and was able to get on the list. Was 20 of 20, the first 5 went by in the first hour (assuming some were no-shows), but the rest of the day was about 2 people per hour. So, if you're last in line, you likely won't get in until the end of the day. If you're in the middle, seems best to plan to get there when there are only two people in front of you in the queue. If you get in the top of the queue, just head on over.

Pickup I was able to schedule a time and was super fast, like in and out in 15 minutes fast!

Overall, great experience with them and could recommend them more highly. Thanks to everyone at RifleGear!

            Hope this helps.

Stay healthy and safe out there!
