Given we are all essentially under house arrest for an indeterminate period of time, what are you watching on TV? Tell us what you watched, movie or series, where you found it and if you liked it or not.


I just finished binge watching "The Last Kingdom" on NetFlix. It is a British historical fiction television series based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories series of novels. The story is set in the late 9th century AD, when England is divided into seven separate kingdoms. The Anglo-Saxon lands are gradually attacked, plundered, and effectively ruled by Viking Danes in many areas. The Kingdom of Wessex remains the last major stronghold against the Danes. Great story, protagonists and good production values in the sets/costumes/props.

I'm kinda leaning on you tube a lot,

i drift around till i find an interesting one and then go full vortex.

Right now it's "Apache Cowboys",

they cruise around the desert looking for wild cattle.

When they find one/some they pull up the truck, unload the horses and have at it.......granted there's not much of a plot.

Deutschland 83 and Deutschland 86 (two different seasons)
Drama about East German intelligence before the wall coming down. Mostly drama, some comic irony/comic relief.

False Flag
Drama about Israeli intelligence. Set in Modern day.
Two seasons, currently viewing the second.

After we're done with False Flag we'll likely watch Prisoners of war. It's about three Israeli soldiers who have been held captive for an extended period of time. They're released and their stories about their captivity don't match up. It's the series that Homeland is based on.

All are on Hulu with subtitles (German/Hebrew, respectively.)
