Yep, my sister is in Ag and her employer gave her a letter to carry around in the event she gets pulled over or hassled. States the company she works for is an "Essential" business and the like.

But if you get pulled over, just start coughing a little and say you are on your way home, the cop will be like, ok have a nice day sir as he backs away.

You are permitted to shop for food, check on family etc. so what is the point of being pulled over. Just say you are out to get food or check on family.

But I do not think you should be prevented from free movement. If I am in my car alone and want to head up to the lake or go for a hike and maintaining social distancing, what is the problem? ****, maybe I just want to get out hte house and go for a drive for my sanity and get some fresh air.

Railroad employee here. We all received a "travel restriction exemption" letter and were instructed to print a copy and carry it with our employee ID whenever engaged in travel related to the "performance of our duties".

I work for govt. They swear that our designated HR person is putting essential personnel names on a list and routed to the local EOC. Whether or not that is happening who knows. I travel with my credentials on me most of the time.

My job issued a letter. We were also instructed to make sure we have our employee badge on us at all times when at work or traveling to or from work.

Nothing I've seen so far suggests that this is a legal requirement though.

My fiance's father was pulled over yesterday by LAPD and questioned as to why he was out. He is a truck driver returning from work. But, they are looking. Interesting seeing as how we are permitted to go to the store etc.

I gave four of my employees letters indicating their need for the safety and security of the marina, and the food food service people I gave notice they will be laid off 4/2 so they can qualify for the sick time.

Our badges at the Hospital used to have printed on the back to allow us to cross police or emergency lines for work. Not there anymore. No paperwork from management.

I keep seeing pictures of empty or less busy streets in LA or the bay area, here in the central valley I haven't noticed less traffic yet. Might be just because we have a ton of ag workers, might be because we have very few cases and a lot of people that hate Gavin and don't care about a new stain of the cold running around. I'm wondering if I'll soon start to see emptier streets.

Guess I'll find out tonight and tomorrow morning, as I head out to run deliveries to local restaurants.

Our company passed the ID card out Friday. We are a food processor so we are exempt from this directive.

CCSF hasn’t issued us any physical copies of travel exemptions yet. I’ll ask my supervisor tomorrow if such a paper will be created.
