There's no real way for any one person to truly verify much, but here's the thing:
If I'm being fooled, it's because tens of thousands of medical people all over the world are part of a great conspiracy - I'm sure you've read up on the internet exactly why they would do this, and how they could get away with it. If you're being fooled, it's because you listened to a few cranks on the internet who are in no position to know anything themselves. Those are your people.

Meh, lotta showing off on the internet. Maybe they thought it was ironic, weddings can get pretty silly. For some the masking is about virtue signalling, and Karening, but even efficacy aside, it really does put many people at ease. I don't have a problem with that. It's more strange that anyone would make a big deal out of going along with it. I was more outraged at the motorcycle helmet law. Of all the intrusions into autonomy that have happened in the last year, masking seems pretty low on the list, for what you get in return.
