So, I have been watching this back and forth and I'm honestly a little confused.
It seems one side thinks the study is bunk because they did not isolate for vaccination status. If I understand the logic, this could mean that the teens swaying the clotting, heart failure, and liver failure results were all vaccinated and that is the link to the increased risk. (I happen to agree but I am willing to listen)
I believe we then have freespool refuting that but also not willing to point out why he thinks the study doesn't do that.
Do I have this right?Comment

The study had nothing to do with vaccinating clinical trial control subjects, as the OP implied. Or clinical trials at all. The authors explain they didn't have good vaccination status data. Much of the study happened before vaccines were available, esp to the young study group. They stratified by age (2-4, 5-11, 12-17 - whole lotta vaccination happenin in those first two groups, eh?) and got similar results in each grouping. So, I have been watching this back and forth and I'm honestly a little confused.

But, yeah, no doubt hiding vaccination status was nefarious because it would have changed the whole outcome. Good thing there's an army of ace sleuths, steeped in the minutiae of Covid science, to ferret this stuff out. Where would we be without them?
All that information was available to anyone who cared to do even the slightest bit of inspection. Took 5 minutes to find out.
My first comment was just to (politely?) point out the study indicated in the image had no bearing on the poster's personal comments.
The rest is history.Last edited by freespool; 09-01-2022, 5:43 PM.Comment
