Have you been tested for COVID19 yet?

I got tested today when I went to the Dr's office for my asthma, which got a little worse last week and I wanted to get the pneumonia vaccine. She tested me, out of an abundance of caution. She said I probably just have a cold virus. It was overkill, and I didnt push it at all, but at least I should know in a couple days if I have it. I have no fever.

    So yeah... whose got dibs?

Interesting! My boy and I were sick last Friday and were told since we didn't have contact with a known positive nor travel from a high risk area we would not be able to be tested, they just didn't have enough tests for that. They offered to test for influ-A, strep and a myriad of others things that would've cost me 1k with anthem doing their part. I said F off and we just stayed home...glad you're healthy are you Tom Hanks?

Yeah, she said she wouldnt have tested except that I had a little bit of pain taking a deep breath. Lungs sounded good and I also got a chest x ray, which looked good. So its probably just a little bronchitis (inflammation).

I know, TMI. Just curious if anyone else has been tested yet.

Private offices don't have test kits. Even our local hospital is screening ONLY people who fit that list you mentioned (travel to high risk area/close contact with a known positive).

Was the physician in the OP working at a hospital system where they might have had more access to test kits?

Might want to 'shop' the "positive" on the same slant as the other results. It appears that the test paper had a slight fold and the results just above it were angling a few degrees downward-until the last "result".

Yup, sloppy execution, but a good attempt at a joke.

Been in the military, and ALL those immunizations and BOOSTERs we got should make us immune, or at least able to laugh at the hoarders, which I do frequently. The plague shot was the worst.
