They're doing mandatory evacs for a new start somewhere around Amber and Silver Leaf out of Colfax/Grass VAlley area? Not sure of the roads and area over there but listening on the scanner.

Hope that one goes better than Dixie is.

I just walked out to get the mail and can see the smoke from here in SE Butte County. It looks like it is building rapidly.

I thought I heard on the scanner that there was spotting to Rollins lake. If I heard right, that is bad. Heat maps aren't showing up yet. Damnitt.
