Mossberg Defensive Gun w/ Magpul Stock

Here is my hd gun. Would love to hear thoughts or critiques.

Here are the additions:

Magpul FDE Stock and fore end w/ sling attachment
Choate magazine tube extension
Inforce Desert Sand WML
OSOE Velcro side saddle
OSOE Single point bungee sling w/ OSOE TK4 tourniquet pouch and Magpul Paraclip

Buckshot in the gun and slugs in the side saddle.



FYI, i did have to modify the anti rotation nut a bit for it to fit. As installed it would bind on the barrel when trying to operate the pump action. I buzzed it down a bit with a dremel and it works like a champ, still minimal movement and rotation.

The fore end is fine, but the stock in particular is great. Its tough to explain, but it feels great in the end. I like the short lop for defensive purposes, but I would extend it if I intended on using it for shooting clays. The great thing about the fore end is that it is easy and inexpensive to attach a light. I have two Inforce WML's, and I will say that I prefer the momentary on/off for this since my thumb stays on the switch when I grip the fore end.

Reliably the extension makes it a 6+1 gun. I have been able to fit 7+1 with shorter 12 gauge ammo though. When its sitting in the corner of my bedroom, its 6+1 buckshot and 6 slugs in the side saddle.

There is a TK4 tourniquet inside. I run the same setup on my AR. Black though, got to match, haha.

Ditch the sling for HD. It'll only snag or be grabbed.

I like having the sling in the event I need to use my hands for something. IF they are close enough to grab the sling they can grab myself or my gun anyway. I know that motor skills go out the window in a high pressure situation, but the way my gun sits, it would be tough to get a single point sling tangled to the point that I couldn't operate the weapon.
