I thought a scatter gun was a double barreled shotgun cut down to about a foot and a half minus the buttstock?

I have a near-perverse attraction to "coach guns" simply because they're so wicked-looking... but I don't yet own a (legal-barrel-length) coach gun because it's "down on the list" due to it's impracticality when compared to a pump gun having a larger magazine.

That said, is that nicely-crafted piece pictured above classified as an "AOW" or as a felony? I'd type "lol", but I guess it's no laughing matter. Dunno.
