Mossberg 590A1

So I've had my 590A1 for a couple months now and love it to death, 18.5 heavy barrel, ghost rings, and speed feed stock. But I missed the wood look, so I picked up an old 500 stock set and refinished it with a friend, Red dye followed by light oak, and finished with kona. How you all like it?

I think its crappy, just like that 28 gauge franchi. Who buys that gauge gun?! You should picked up a rossi circuit judge in .410 instead. LOP is too short too.

I read "wood stock" and "Mossberg 590a1" and thought "Gross".

But it looks really good. Like a shotgun AK47.

A heatshield is in the works! Just been tight on funds lately, guess its time to bite the bullet and get the heatshield. Any suggestions for heatshields? the heavy barrel narrows my options significantly.
