As it should be...all that crap on the forend is useless and would only get in the way...very little has changed in the 870s used by LEOs on a day to day basis for a reason.... i had my uncle who has his own furniture painting business refinish a mismatching stock set in exchange for some labor. He did an awesome job and even he was surprised how good it came out, in fact the wood forend in the original post is the same one in the updated post.Comment
