So this is my "Destroyer of everything walking, flying, living, and undead" 930.

Mossberg 930 Turkey (85235) 24" ported vent rib barrel with fiber optic rifle sights.

10+1+1 ghost = 12 round capacity

Nordic +6 tube, clamp, follower, and bolt handle.

im trying to come up with something like this, that i could do the occasional trap with, hunt with, and not be too cumbersome to wield around the home. I was looking at a 22'' Browning BPS, but I am a huge mossberg fan, and this shotgun looks pretty sweet.

Glad to see everything came together nicely. What company sidesaddle is that? It looks removable.

I really like the idea of a velcro mounted side saddle. Saddle goes empty, tear it off, put a full one on.

@ bellehood - This was my second choice. Benelli M2 Field was #1 but you can do two of these easy for that price. I looked at a lot of shotguns before doing this and it just seemed to feel right and fit the need. Mossberg has the 18" and 28" combo pack for the 930 also if that fits what you're looking for.

@CDMJ - You bring up some great thoughts. This hasn't taken over the Defender for HD duties but those are some good lighting options!

@ KEV and PRC77 - Thanks! It's the Choate smooth back ones. Like 5 bucks each. Kind of happened by default. After shooting my first 3 gun, I found I needed a way to seperate a few slugs and buck from the bird in the belt loaders. I got these because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted and I had some industrial velco laying around... and there it is. Works great, doesn't even think about coming off. I've got a couple ideas to trick it out a little but we'll see how it goes.

Next, take up CDMJ's suggestion and get a chunky safety. Oughta help for your 3 gun competitions. I hear nice things about the Vang and the ETA one you inadvertently pointed me to is great.

I got to run it last weekend at the wegc action pistol match and all I have to say is WOW!

@kev - I ordered the ETA safety and they're sending the new design without the slide plate.
