    hd mossberg 930

my bastardized picatinny rail install on the bottom opens up the options; i put a folding foregrip and tac light for home defense.
i simply drilled and fastened a 6 inch rail on the forearm if you wondering how i did that. only other problem is the mag tube casts a shadow since the light is so far back, but i still get more than enough illumination
maybe thinking about getting the pistol stock

bottom line, love the damn thing! my first shotgun and its way cheaper than benelli. 2009 shotgun of the year

Man, I was trying really hard to come up with something decent to say, but honestly, I love the shotgun, hate the light and folding VFG. Just put on a normal light towards the end and lose the rail and grip and it'll look much better and the pressure switch from a Fenix tk10 or something of that nature will suit it well.

The 930 is a great gun. I pick mine up in 10days. Have you shot it yet? Hows it shoot. Nice shotgun.

That front grip, rail and light combo looks like it could be a hassle. it sits very low, will get snagged on clothing and other gear if you ever have to use a sling. Check out this link great light setup to http://www.weaponevolution.com/forum...light=mossberg

CAN'T have the pistol grip AND the forward grip on an autoloading shotgun.See flowchart http://www.calguns.net/caawid/sgflowchart.pdf
Keep the stock you have on it. get 250 rounds of some highbase birdshot., hit the range and break that action in. Don't start with low recoil stuff, cause you will have problems with it feeding.

i think he can cause he doesn't have a folding or telescopic stock.

In post #1 the OP states that he is thinking of getting a pistol grip stock, that, and the forward mounted grip would = bad news for him
