It's relatively informal, not an NSSA registered shoot, so it doesn't go on your permanent record, but follows NSSA rules as far as a non-registered shoot goes.

It's American skeet, 75 targets for the regular tournaments and 100 targets for the Championship tournament. You shoot any gauge you would like to shoot and you class yourself on the honor system from AA to E class. Normal shoot off procedures for breaking ties.

They have a website with all their info and history. I would post a link, but I don't really know how. Someone will hopefully post it.

Chime in guys if I left anything out.

I was ahead of Jonny by 1 bird going into the last round. Jonny rose to the top, I swirled down the bowl...

            Here is the man himself.

What was not said was that not only was this his first match, but he got second with his pump shotgun. Watching him shoot is a treat.

Our squad was composed of all Calguns Skeet Clinic attendees. Had a great time shooting with them.

Well geez, if he took second place, why is he so angry?

                Congrats!

Wow! Thanks guys I owe everything to Don and Richard. Without the lessons I have learned from those guys there is no way I could have placed. What a fun day that was. Couldn't have asked for a better it nicer squad of shooters. I'm looking forward to next months tourney!
