Stoeger Coach/Double Defense: Whos got em?

Who's got em and how do you like them??

Saw a couple at my LGS. Thought "How stupid is that tactical POS Double Defense"....

Got home, Now I want one of the side by sides! I only like the ports and fron F/O sight, and that its ready for a pic rail/sight. Dont care much for the front rail tho.

The Classic wood ones are nice tho! Donno if its $500 cool for me tho.

My colleague has a Stoeger coach gun, if you get one, make sure you get a really good recoil pad for it. I fired it once using Fiocchi low recoil 00 buckshot and I couldn't believe how much it hurts! Those are cream puff to shoot on my Benelli but on the coach gun it really pokes hard on your shoulder.

Yea Ive noticed in almost every video, no one keeps it on their shouldure for very long lol


Beginning of the video it's there solid with what look like good recoil. Next clip it's floating and looks painful.

I think one of these would be cool for a dedicated HD gun. Save the 930/870/500's for the range and clays. I just love how short they are.

I got one of these about a year ago and it is a hoot to shoot with birdshot! That being said it throttled me pretty good with slugs and buckshot.
