    Benelli M4 Optics!

    Hello Calgunners,
I just purchased a Benelli M4 shotgun from a fellow Calgunner and I'm looking to put a optic on it in the future. With the hundreds of different optics out there, what are your recommendations?

One of the lower sitting red dots such as the Bushnell TRS25 should co-witness if that's what you are after.

Co-witnessing of the Ghost Ring sights would be very cool!
I put 50 shells through her last weekend and the rifle sights are easy to acquire and seem to be dead on. Thanks for the suggestion!

Update: Midway sells Bushnell TRS25s at a very reasonable price, but the price makes me worry that it's a POS. It gets good reviews from most of the buyers.
I'm always looking for more "Bang for my Buck." But I'm not sure I can bring myself to put a $90 optic on a $2000 shotgun. LOL!
They also sell Aimpoint models for $600+! Are the Aimpoint models that much better for the price?

Yes, The Aimpoints (and Trijicon) are that much better for the price. 30,000 hour battery lifein the AimPoint PRO or 15 year Tritium illumination lifespans in the RMR's and ACOGs plus very heavy-duty housings cost but IMHO are well worth it.
Eotech is one more worthwhile Brand
Look at what the military uses Generally, it will be one of these three.

Red dot on a shotgun always seems like overkill to me. Or at least there are a lot of other things ahead of it that I would rather spend money on. But if you've got the $$$$, then an Aimpoint T1 would probably be my first choice or maybe a RMR.
