Short length of pull stock for Benelli M2

    Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a Benelli M2 and wondering if there is any vendor of a short LOP stock for it? Just an ordinary stock not necessarily the Comfortech.

I have a Hogue 12" on my 870 and find that ideal.

    Many thanks in advance.

Mesa Tactical offers a short LOP pistol grip stock for the Benelli M2. Benelli themselves has a short LOP version of the M2, called the M2 Field Compact and available in 12 or 20 gauge. My wife uses one in 12 gauge for trap shooting, an excellent shotgun.

The ComforTech stock with the M2 is not too bad. My wife is 5'1"; she uses the thinnest ComforTech recoil pad on her M2 3-Gun, and the LOP was perfect even for her size.

I should have added that I want a straight stock not pistol grip.

I saw the M2 field compact but it doesn't look like they offer a tactical compact.

The Benelli M2 also offer with the ComforTech stock, which is a 'straight stock' like you prefer, similar to the picture below.

Si, the recoil pad is Italian-ly fancy -- it came with left or right hand vesion, and with three different thickness (LOP) sizes. The stock can also have three comb sizes.

I have a Benelli Super Sport and a M2 3-Gun that has the ComforTech stock, and they do fit very ComforTably.

            ><

I'll have to disagree with the Comfort recoil pad. Its not very comfortable to shoot at all. Replacing it as soon as I can find something else.

Understood. Shotgun fitting is very personal.

The ComforTech gel recoil pad has a 'V-ish-shape' that is designed to fit into the 'pocket' of our shoulder. If it doesn't position right into the pocket, the shape could become 'poke-y.'
