Help with my 870

I've got a newer 870 express I'm having issues with. When I pump the shotgun the spoon doesn't move to load another round. I took the gun apart and everything appears to be normal. I have two other 870's I took apart to compare and nothing looks different. I added a Blackhawks stock months ago without any issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated before I take it to a gun smith.

Magazine spring the correct length?

Yeah everything is from the factory except the Blackhawks stock

If you mean the carrier is not raising the shell up so the breech bolt can pick it up then you have an issue with the carrier dog. I would say the carrier dog plunger is stuck or the spring is stuck. Your carrier dog could even be broken. If you call me I can talk you through checking on that issue or even put live on my work bench as I have web cams on the bench. I am up till about 9pm your time. Have your trigger plate assembly in your hand when if call. Number is 231-690-0954
