winchester sx3 vs beretta a390st

I'm looking at two used shotguns. Primary use will be duck hunting but will also probably be used for upland game, turkey, and geese.

The two I'm interested in are:

Beretta A390st 12ga, 26", 3" chamber, wood stock

Winchester SX3 12ga, 28", 3 1/2" chamber, synthetic stock

Anyone with experience with either of these two shotguns or using a 26" barrel for waterfowl I'd appreciate your input.

I have a SX3. It has ran great even with cheap Walmart bird shot. I think the 28" barrel and 3 1/2" chamber would both be good things for your type of hunting.

I've never owned a Beretta 12ga, here's my review: get an Sx3. only a few changes from Sx2, but worth it.

Have any of you ever had an issue with jamming on light loads in the sx3 or any parts breaking? I think I read some people had a problem with piston springs breaking.

Rust has been my only issue.

Wet lands/ water foul finish. Cant put them away wet for long....

I have had 1 light primer strike. I have about 2000 rounds thru mine. I got the light strike when I was seeing how fast I could shoot it. That's the only malfunction. No broken parts yet. Oh, I also had the nut that holds the butt stock on come loose. Drop of lockrite and it was good to go.

Love my SX3 . Have had it for 3 years never jammed eats Everything with no problems.
