    00 Buck- Target quality

I need to start stocking up on 00 Buck target ammo. Dont know much about 00 Buck prices other than it is much more money than target loads..LMAO. Need cheap reliable 00 buck. Please school me on todays prices.

or should i wait for that 69.00 per 250 deal at PSA people were referencing last month. From what I have seen, can't be beat.

Is this a good buy? I have a 5 dollar shipping code. Does anyone have any better codes?

I prefer low recoil 00 buckshot, but I've shot a lot of that RIO. It's good for practice. That's a good buy.

That's a good price. I use Rio buck shots and they're ok. They are a little longer than the usual 2 3/4 in. shells so you might not be able to fill your mag tube to capacity.

The rolled crimp such as the RIO will reduce your mag tube by 1 round. #1 choice for me is Federal Low Recoil with FLIGHT CONTROL,, #2 would be Winchester Low Recoil Ranger

Would the length be a problem in a magazine fed shotgun?

Yes, they are not recommended for detachable box or drum magazine fed shotguns. Sgammo.com even posts it in their product description:

Absent any online sales, the Suprema buck shot at Wal-Mart is a decent deal at $12 a box of 25.

The RIO tends to be the cheapest and patterns the worst for me. I actually really like the Fiocci. It patterns pretty darn good, has plated shot, and comes in both full power and low recoil favors. It also runs shorter than most of the other hulls, including federal, so it doesn't decrease your capacity. Nice high brass.....and usually you can find it for just a tad more than RIO. It's almost too nice for a practice round....I would have no problem using it as an HD round also.

Must be some kind of issue with the model of the shotgun the above post is reffering to as my 870 with two shot extensions loads 6 in tube with room to spare.

I have used Wolf 00 for range for many years and found it a little hotter then most and even my 11-87 Police loves it. However, when ammo got stupid to find I ended up buying a 1,000 rounds of Royal 00 and have no issues with it.

I've had great luck with full power Federal 00, I bought an ammo can of 175 for $100 on Black Friday. Not nearly as cheap as the Rio stuff, but it's high quality and 100% function in my Vepr12.

I second the Suprema buck shot, they've worked well in my pumps and the price is pretty good.

Check gunbot.net for price comparison. Walmart also usually has pretty decent prices on target buckshot.

MidwayUSA has had Estate 00 buck cases (and individual boxes) on sale for a while. click here

If you're a returning customer, you should have the "Save $20 on $200" if you're ordering some other stuff.

$80 for a case of 00 buck (250 rounds) is ridiculously good. Not sure about shipping though.

                              this.

I brought a case of it back in black friday, and then brought another case of it.. and last week, brought another case of it..

with shipping and everything, it came out to $100 and some change.. I burned through 200 rounds of it and so far, no issues. I shot a box of it today and no issues what so ever.
