    Fabarm HK FP6 Question???

I just purchased a used HK FP6 12 shotgun. When you chamber a shell into the shotgun the forend does not lock. You can repeatly rack the forend without pulling the trigger and eject all the shells. Is this normal for this shotgun or is something wrong.

On Remmington my 870 and Ithica 16 GA , rack the forearm once, a shell is loaded and unless you pull the trigger or push a release button near the trigger guard the foreend is locked and you cannot rack the forend.

    What's up?

I dont have this issue. Mine locks just fine... Maybe check the release button, and make sure there isnt something that is keeping it from catching?

      Thanks

The shotgun is on the ten day wait so I will check it when I get it. I assume the release button is the chrome lever that is at the front of the trigger guard. If so that lever/button is frozen and does not move. I thoiught it was for takewdown of the shotgun.

      Thanks for the input.

That is exactly the button I am talking about. Mine moves just fine. I would recommend having whatever shop its at, take a look for you. See if maybe the internal is broken. Just an idea...

          Thanks

When I get it home I'll take it apart and see what's hanging it up. If need be I get it fixed by someone or send it back to HK.
