Harrington Richardson 12ga bay state serial B3149

I have no idea if its a 1908 or a 1905 or what. I am hoping someone with more knowledge than I can shed some light. I see prices range all over the map. The condition is amazing condition if its as old as I think. Its a very low serial number but not sure what year B indicates.

It has a 30 inch barrel. a tad under 7 lbs.

Any advice appreciated. Looking for clarification on the exact model and approximate year as well as an opinion of value. thanks Gents

The company was founded in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1870.[1] Circa 1873-1874 it was moved to Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Local references in Uxbridge date the company in the 1880s located on the Mumford River at Seth Reads old Gristmill established in the 1770s. It appears that around 1874 the company was discontinued. The business was reorganized in 1880 in Worcester, Massachusetts making "Bay State Gun" branded firearms. In 1909 the company was purchased by Hopkins & Allen Arms Company of Norwich, Connecticut which continued to use the "Bay State" brand name on single-barrel shotguns.

Other uses of the name[edit]
The trade name "Bay State" was also used by H & R Firearms on single barrel guns. Harrington & Richardson was active from 1872 to 1985.[2]

OH that's fantastic. So I guess by the numbers that mine must have been made in 1941. Does anyone have any idea of value? I cant tell if its a 50 dollar gun or a 850 dollar gun. If its worth a lot then I will sell and upgrade. If its worthless then it will become some wall art. I guess what I am really saying is that I lack the knowledge to Identify the quality of this gun. Any help appreciated.
