Hello, I was going to buy a surefire forend light for my 870, but since I shoot southpaw, a flashlight mounted lighting system with a surefire light will be my choice. So who makes a good flashlight clamp? Thanks

www.elzetta.com and get the ZSM with thumb screw as you can take the light out easily if you need to use it.JD McGuire, Owner

All above mentioned are excellent choices.
Another one to add for consideration -- GG&G. I have one, and I like that it is integrated into the forend.

Side question.... do you (guys) prefer a light mounted to the forend that moves when you rack the slide? Or do you prefer a fixed mounting spot like on the mag tube or on a clamp between the mag tube & barrel, where you have an extended switch to your hand where it rests on the forend?
Different answers will require different mounting systems.Comment
