Just ordered a Versa Max Tac

Ordered from Bud's Gun Shop (used that gimmicky "Make an Offer" button to get $17 off ). Couldn't resist with the 100 dollar rebate Remington has on them through 2014.

My first scatter gun. Bought it for potential 3 gun, HD and "because... shotgun" reasons.

Any must have parts/accessories? Any thoughts on the welded lifter vs the factory comp model lifter? I'm going to shoot the stock model for a while so I can appreciate the differences.

That lifter does seem pretty menacing. I'm a small guy so we'll see if I keep my thumb through the first tube.

Well, you'll definitely need that breeching choke at the end of it!

If you dual or quad load, definitely get it welded. Although I know someone who loads it weakhand caddy style and never pinches their thumb with the stock lifter.

Shoot slugs straight? That's usually the biggest deal.

That breaching choke seems pretty useful. I mean, if the gun jams you can javelin the clay. Remington knows their market base and only put the most practical accessories with the model

Saves tons of money on lock smiths if you forget your keys too. Where else do you get that kind of value?
