So I just purchased my first shotgun.
1975 browning 2000. 26".
Any advice or anything I should look out for?

They are well made and will last....gas operated so be sure to keep it clean....no need to get in to the reciever...just take off the barrel and clean the gas system after a shooting session.

I always loved the side loading port.

Thanks for info guys. And yes I'll probably be looking into barrels in the coming new year. Seems solid when I looked it over. Very clean. Can't wait to bust some clays

Good Belgian guns. Lack the single barrel versatility of today, but solid. Beware that quickloader. It'll bite if you let it.

Any suggestions in what types of ammo I could possibly use for clays? Real uneducated to shotgunspeak lol. Light or heavy loads? I know there's tons of ammo types. But just looking for something all around.

1 or 1-1/8 oz w/ #8 shot is good all-around.
