recoil pad for a Rem 1100

Any recommendations on a recoil pad for a Rem-1100? Most use will be trap/skeet ranges.

Have Pachmayr on rifles; like them.

I have a belt sander; figure will have to get pad and sand to shape/fit. Never done it; had shop install on rifles in the past. Since I have a belt sander now, figured would give it a try. Tape the stock up, and give it a try.

Limbsaver , Pachmayr and Kick Eez are all excellent choices and probably the most widely used pads today.

I would look at the Limbsaver Precision-Fit pads, before going to the belt sander.
I have a custom fitted Pachmayer on my Wingmaster, a Limbsaver on anotherr 870, and a Remington R3 on yet another 870. All 3 are great pads. The Remington R3 has a slightly slicker surface, so that it does not hang up on clothing when mounting the gun.

The 1100 is a pretty soft shooting gun to start with, so really just pick the one you like.
