Maverick 88 refurbish

This gun has been neglected for a long while. Rust everywhere except down the barrel. I've had to change out the springs but everything else seems in working order.

Soaked her and cleaned. Didn't really matter cause it was going to get sand blasted.


I sent her off to San diego gun graphics.


Final. Cerakoted od green and black. I really like this guy's work. I've sent my 1911 and an ar lower to him. going to shoot her in a few weeks.

How hard was it to get off the magazine tube? I want to take mine off and replace the spring and follower.

The magazine tube was a little rough due to the excessive rust. I slapped it in a vice with padding and a little elbow grease, came right off. I paid $160. They charge more if he has to tear down the gun. I stripped down to parts I wanted cerakoted and dropped it off. Had it back 3 days later.
