Cz 912 Sling Mount?

Anyone have any ideas on how to attach a sling to a cz912? I figure that the magazine tube end cap needs to be replaced, haven't found one yet though that comes threaded for a sling swivel or comes with one installed. And I can just drill and mount a sling swivel for the rear. Anyone deal with this issue before? Also with the end cap being metal, could I drill and tap a hole?

The quick release-style stud you'd intall in that hole should be allowed to rotate... you could, depending, double-nut the stud on the inside (and use a flat washer). The space within a compressed magazine spring should allow for that.

First, however, I'd try a company like Uncle Mike's to see if they produce an application for the CZ. I should think they would.

Specifically, the Magnum band swivel; looks like it clamps to the mag tube (if you had a magazine extension) or barrel?

That is exactly what I was thinking for mounting to the end cap, but I'd rather search around as you mentioned to see if someone makes a mount over jimmy riggin one.

Yeah, I use uncle mikes sling mounts on some other firearms. I just can't seem to find the right one for the CZ 912. My Google foo is poor today.


Oh that magnum band looks like it might work. Got to go break out the calipers and see what the diameter is. Thanks Apples.
