So there is more than one, haha? That tends to happen. What model did you end up with? I'm not too familiar with the newer Winchesters, but I'm curious to know where it is made and if the receiver is aluminum or steel.

I know there are some threads all over the internet about what first trap shotgun to get, and the general consensuses seems to be to get a shotgun that may not be limited to just trap but a general pump shotgun until I know for sure I am fully involved.

But in my case, I will only use this shotgun for trap. After a few hours of researching, I believe I narrowed my choices down to these three based upon my budget (under $800):

      Winchester SXP Trap
Browning BPS Trap (pretty much the max budget range)
      Savage Arms Model 555 O/U

Wild Card: Stoeger Condor Competition O/U (some reviews around the net says that it doesn't withstand abuse an average trap shooter puts the gun through at least for the regular condor version.)

Now, I will say that I don't see myself going much more than once or twice a month and won't be shooting hundreds of round per trip, probably 2-4 boxes each trip. Not looking to get serious in trap, just something to enjoy some time with friends.
I use Winchester SX3.My first time trap shooting was very successful,I did 20 out of 25.

the sxp's are made in turkey, and receiver is aluminum. the gun weighs in around 6 lbs, lighter than my bare bones AR15.

I have the FN SLP Competition. Wonderful shooter. Never had any issues using cheap walmart ammo either

I looked at the Winchester trap gun but changed my mind due to the light weight and settled on a Browning BPS Trap.
                  Lousy phone picture.
