I don't have the law in front of me but to the best of my knowledge you need to change 3 parts on a Benelli to make it 922r compliant.
The problem is nobody can seem to find the 3 parts. Somebody on this board was going have 3 trigger parts made the hammer, trigger and disconnector. They might still be trying and good on them if they do.
If you want to be compliant today here's what I think you need. Replace the mag tube with an american made mag tube (called out in the law). Not just the extension. Replace the follower(called out in the law) that's two. The third part has elluded us until now. I just don't think anybody thought of it and I'm not 100% sure on this one. The list states a muzzle device is a part. Buy a Briley choke tube. It's made in America and it's a muzzle device as far as I can tell.
For under $140 bucks I think you will be legal but I could be wrong.
You can get the tube in the receiver and the extension from www.davesmetalworks.com the Briley choke tube I don't know. There are other chokes made in the USA but I don't remember their names and I don't know if they make a choke for a Benelli.
Good luck
