1980's is vintage? What is a 1960's model?

              .
could you please provide me your interpretation on current value for a early 1980's Remington 870 Wingmaster in 12 gauge w/30" barrel in 98%+ condition. No box or papers.

              $450 ish +

If 2-3/4" chamber and fixed choke, that would hurt the value a little bit. Assuming short chamber, fixed choke, and vent rib, near mint condition with no Bubba modifications, value $375-$450 if that's the configuration you want. Screw chokes and Magnum receiver probably move that to $450-$525 max.

Ar the ones made in 1980's better than the ones made now?

Looks like current Wingmasters go for $600-$700, but I would assume the Vintage models would command a higher value due to fit and finish and all forged parts.

                    Thanks in advance Calguns.
You assume wrong. It is a used 870 and there are almost 11 million of them out there. It is worth around $350 to $400 if in really good shape and the price goes down from there based on the condition.

Edited - Note: I failed to comment that you are in CA and guns tend to resell higher there. So the guys stating $450 are more accurate then my estimate.

$250-$400 depending on condition and how bad someone wants it.
