looking for a short HD barrel - Franchi Affinity =help !

I'd rather not take a saw to a perfectly good 28" barrel.... But I want it short as possible for HD.

As short as possible, legally, is 18" measured from the bolt face in battery to the end of the barrel. Standard method is to drop a dowel down the barrel, mark the end of the barrel with pencil, and then measure the dowel from the end to the pencil mark.

It might help to post the make and model of the shotgun...ya' think?

The maker is Franchi not Franchise !
The model is the "Affinity"

Franchi is a sister company of Benelli...kinda like Old Navy & the Gap.

PS. Gotta stay legal! 18" barrel !

I didn't see anything on a quick google check...you might call Franchi or perhaps Briley and see if they've had any success with a shorter barrel.

Your only option is to have the barrel cut to the legally desired length.
As far as I am aware, Franchi does not offer a 12ga HD Affinity and their shortest available barrel is 26inches. They do have a 20ga Affinity with a 24" barrel.
