sidesaddle and shell holders = loaded or unloaded?

    Hey CG,

Would carry shotshells in a side saddle on the gun be considered unloaded and ok for transportation? or does that qualify as loaded and not ok because its physically touching the gun?

    unloaded
Case law has dictated that it must be in a firing position i.e. in a magazine that is inserted (or a part of) the gun, or in the chamber, in order to be considered loaded.

Note: ignorant LEO will not likely know this and may hassle you.

thanks, also just found this thread

guess its unloaded and i'm good to go

now if i could just find a side saddle to go with my ATI top folder and ATI top shell holder so i could have lots of zombie ammo

      6 + 1 in the tube, 5 on the folding ATI and 4-6 on a side saddles = 16-18 zombies !
