    Model 37 left-hand safety installation

Finally got around to ordering a left-hand safety for my Ithaca Model 37 Defense. It was only $17.50 plus $5.95 shipping right off their website. The installation instructions seem very straightforward. Would you install this youself? Why or why not?

No question I would do it myself...as you wrote "The installation instructions seem very straightforward."

The Model 37 is simple to work on.

Excellent choice on your weapon v. the usual M500 / R870.
True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Thanks. The bottom loading and ejection work for me as a lefty, but anyway I love the old-school wood furniture on mine - especially the nunchuk-style forend. Really glad Ithaca has been revived and re-engineered.
