Well, last weekend I shot my first ATA registered 25-straight at North Hollywood Sportsman's Club up in Santa Clarita. This weekend I shot my first ATA registered 50-straight at Redlands Shooting Park during the first two rounds of singles. And to boot it was my fifth ever ATA shoot and first time shooting at Redlands. And I did it with cheapo Rio 1 oz. #8 loads in my trusty 'ol 1985 BT-99.
Managed to shoot a 97 and won B Class; got $22 for it so it covered about a third of my entry fees. Didn't fare as well this weekend in the handicap shoot; only shot an 89.
Not bad for only shooting trap for 3 months. Got a free patch from Terry Bilbey. (Redlands gun club owner and hall-of-fame trapshooter)

Congratulations on your success and keep it up. I hope I do half way as good as you when I start doing it.
