experience with the 590a1 talo

Just looking to hear what you guys think about the 590a1 talo. Picked one up for 300. Im interested in making this mainly a hd gun, but also a camping/survival weapon. Any ideas on accessories are welcome as well.

Had a basic 590a1 before I got my 870. My Mossberg 590a1 had a doube trigger spring and my Mossberg 500 only had the outer spring. After getting rid of the inner spring the trigger pull was much nicer or at least normal compared to a 500. My 870 has a gritty feel to it and seems like it might be tricky to improve. I would put a light on the 590a1 and call it a day.

The Mossberg 590A1s are good to go as a " combat/survival " shotguns. The only accessories you will need are plenty of shells. You might want to use bandoleers to carry spare shells.

Learn to fully disassemble it and give it a thorough cleaning. My own rule of thumb is not to spend money over the actual price of a gun, except of course for ammo.
