What?So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.

Ok I had my basic shotgun class this Saturday with Greg Blocks firearms training and put my 887 remington to the test it was not with out its flaws. It likes to be man handled. I know about the bad reviews but I had bought the gun thinking it was a tricked it 870 it's not. All thought their was some people struggling with a 870 I think they were not handling it right. It was a very good class and I would recommend it to the any one that needs some defensive shotgun class.Comment

I think that money would have better served you going towards an English grammar class - not a defensive shotgun class.
JK, glad you enjoyed the class and while the 887 isn't that great, I'm sure it'll serve you just fine if you don't shoot it a ton.Truckers make the world go 'round!

Yea I've never been a fan/impressed with 887's. Funny you posted this becase a buddy of mine just went on a discussion with me about how great the 887 is, and in his mind, a improvement over the 870 platform.. I held my comments and said alright bro. When you actually shoot the gun let me know lolComment

While no gun is perfect - the 870 is damn close - especially at such a good price. The old adage rings true: "Don't try fix something that isn't broke".Yea I've never been a fan/impressed with 887's. Ya sorry for that post! I re read my post and I even confused my self. One thing I noticed is that after about 50 or so rounds the gun started acting up and then it would be OK for another 6 rounds or so then jam up again. Is their a fix for this problem? Any info would appreciated.Comment
