Saiga 12 issues

So I bought a Saiga from a member and took it to the range and it won't cycle. I brought it home and did a conversion. While I did the conversion I decided to do the gas block. I looked in and could see one hole. So I removed it and drilled the holes a bit bigger, just enough to clear things up. It's back together and ready to roll.
Wish me luck. I hope to make it to the range tonight.

There was but they were a bit blocked.

You try swapping out the gas puck? I thought saiga's had ones for low and high brass. I have a vepr I think it's drilled 5-6 ports.

I just opened things up a bit. Took the holes to the next size bit. That seems to be the fix that everyone is doing anyway.

saiga conversion: 1. there are 4 small holes there, watch for the angle if you decided to open them up. 2. replace puck with performance puck. 3. replace gas knob with a performance 5 or 6 position gas knob.4. replace hammer spring with jte performance hammer spring

Ok well the cheap stuff is GTG now! All I did was the drilling. I might upgrade some other stuff but at this point its working awesome. It likes the aftermarket 10 rounder better also.
