How much is my Winchester 1200 defender worth?

I have a Winchester model 1200 defender. Bought it new in the early 70s only for HD. In Sept. 2012 I put a TrcStar Magazine Tube Extention...total round count around 12. I'm just wondering how much is it worth? Herwe are some pics.

Dunno, I paid $250 for one at LGS 4 years ago.
It was used but in excellent condition.

      My guess would be $250-$300

this is just a guess but I would think around $200 give or take $50, is what you end up getting for here on the market place because everyone knows their stuff and most prefer Remington 870's or Mossberg 500 ( Mossberg,if they're looking for a budget shotgun.)

that's bad but if you took it to a gun store to have them buy it, they would offer you a number that would just be an insult (like around or less than $100)..
I'm not sure about consignment because I've never done that but my guess is it's going to be somewhere between those two numbers and will take some time.

it's a shame really because they are good shotguns. maybe not as many aftermarket accessories like pistol grips but definitely better in my opinion than the Chinese made stuff.

and if I remember correctly they can digest those short mini shells that a few ammo manufacturers make without a problem unlike some other shotguns.

Unless you need the cash, you might just want to hold on to it..... Sometimes a "things" actual worth, just hasn't quite met up with the marketplace.

+1 You can't replace the quality with the money your going ro get for it.

I'd just hang on to it, I bought a Winchester 1200 Police model which is the nickel one with a factory extended tube, my favorite shotgun I've owned and I got it for $200 from a LGS.

Nice Winchester. Just keep it. I like them more than Mossberg, and Rem.
