    Recent work. Mossber590A1

Hello everyone, long time lurker more recent poster. Right to it shall we?

All work is done out of my home, and I have recently been picking up work here and there. It's been a process with multiple thousands of dollars invested. I am currently in the process of getting an FFL so I can receive shipments but for now am only taking things on a walk in basis. I have set prices on standard colors and things, but most is done through contact and agreed upon before work begins. I am located in the central valley and have been servicing people in the area. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

As far as this project, everything was stripped and painted in Tungsten grey as a base color, hit with white and graphite black stenciled and all done again. A flashing in the oven took place after every color both before and after stencils had been placed. I used 0000 steel wool and lightly distressed every color between flashings for a warn/used look. Hard to see until you get close, last is a clear coat over everything. All colors done in Matte/flat hardener to pain ratios as per NCIS instructions. Hope people like it, was told people here would appreciate it on this site so I finally made it around to making my first post. Also pictured is a Glock 21 generation 4, done in FDE/tan custom mix in flat ratio with clear again. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy it as much as I love doing it. Forgive the Go Pro pictures, ill have professional pictures taken in the future.

Also was going to post in Commercial Services but do no have access to be able to do so, can anyone tell me why that is?

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but did you see the stickies in that forum? They should answer your question(s).

I really like the design, it's very futuristic and you obviously put some thought and work into it.

I see that you put the same design on your sling as well.

      very nice.

can we get some pictures of the Glock separate and not hidden buy the shotgun?

I wish you the best in your new endeavors.

That looks pretty neat. You could also try to advertise in 3-gun events, many competitors over there would like to personalize/customize their guns. If the quality of the job is top notch, they wouldn't mind to pay.

        Best wishes to your business.

Thank you for the kind words. The sling is a product of Phase 5 Weapon systems, in grey. Gotta give the credit where due. I'll get some picks of this glock and another one of mine up shortly. Thanks for the interest.

Thank you for the advice and I will do so, I've done a few 3 gun guns (that sounds redundant) before but I did not think about posting there.

I've seen the same design before, done a little differently but the design is the same.

sorry for shiny spots all over, these got cleaned after outing and have froglube on them. Also a test to cerakote on this one, that G17c as seen more than 10k rounds since it has been painted. Thank you for the interest.

your 590A1 came out very nice and you've got genuine talent. i have no inclination to have any of mine painted, but you're doing it with style.

Interesting variation on the Kryptec camo pattern. Why didn't you cover the mag tube, fore end and stock?

That came down to personal preference. I thought about the stock long and hard, seeing as I sprayed all parts back including internals so that they would be a matching black and not 4 different shades of black from various places. It really came down to the look I was going for. I wanted an urban ish camo, with a twist, but still a two tone effect with classic black. Just came down to what I wanted. The side saddle that is on the other side was sprayed just black aswell. Thought long and hard on if I wanted that in pattern too.

You probably haven't shot a 3 gun match, or been to one, but 3 gunners don't care about the artwork, only the shooting. Most of my stuff is pretty beat up, and as is most of the guys I shoot with. Shooters with sponsors will put their decals on the guns, but that's about it.
